The Director of Youth Ministries and Worship Band Coordinator is a full time staff position. This staff member has primary leadership responsibilities for ministry to and with youth (grades 6 - 12), following the objectives of faith development, fellowship, fun and service; and with the Worship Band/Contemporary Worship Service.
Qualifications:
1. Christian with a call to youth ministry and desire to share faith.
2. Experience in planning and leading events and activities for small and large groups.
3. Ability to teach youth with creative and dynamic lessons and settings.
4. Good knowledge and practice of music. Able to select/prepare music and offer leadership to a
worship band.
5. Characteristics: energetic, enthusiastic, patient leader, flexible, good communication and listening skills, sense of humor and fun, rapport with youth and parents, good organizational and
planning skills, ability to do cooperative planning with group so they have ownership of the program, approachable, creative, and know how to and when to refer to someone else.

The Choir Director reports to the Director of Music and Senior Pastor for the administration, coordination, organization, planning and direction of the church's choral groups. This will include but is not limited to:
- Directing the Adult Chancel and Sweet Spirit Choirs in rehearsal, worship, and other performances.
- Ongoing recruitment of members for the choirs listed above.
- Reviewing and selecting anthems, coordinated with sermon concept or relevant to the worship theme, for choirs involved in worship participation.
- Preparing the choirs listed for a definite and/or regular number of worship services per month during the two service season, and conduct/direct these choirs in its worship participation.
Candidate must be capable of the following skills: Keyboard/Piano skills, proficient in choral preparation and selection of appropriate music. Good working rapport with both youth and adults.
Required formal training: Bachelors Degree in Music or equivalent

Hours: 20 hours a week, through the school year
40 hours a week, during the 8 week Summer Enrichment program

The Port Huron District is seeking a person to serve as the Christian Education Consultant. This is a 1/2 time position requiring travel and leadership in the area of Christian Education for Adults and Children.
Qualifications include at least 2 years of College, experience in teaching and leading Christian Education in the local church, a basic understanding of Computer Skills for Word, Power Point, and Publisher, and availability of storage area for the many resources. Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
