We host mission work teams to assist low income families with minor home repairs around our 2500 square mile parish, with the assistance of volunteers from our 7 local UMCs and neighborhoods.  Due to our varied weather and college interns, we are limited to hosting mission teams for 6 weeks in June and July each summer.  We accept mission teams with the youngest youth leaving 7th grade - adults.  Team sizes can vary from 5-15 people.

Newburg UMC Jamaica '13 - Papa's Ministries Trip

Youth summer trip to PAPA's Ministries in the Port Antonio Circuit Parish. This is in the Jamaica District of the United Methodist Church of the Caribbean and the Americas Conference.
 
Trip dates: July 2nd-July 9th, 2013.
 
This trip would be open to 4-6 junior and senior aged, high school youth who have attended ASP at least once previously and are active in the youth program on a weekly basis with an application process to provide discernment for participation.

Working with the Greater New Jersey Conference, UMC, Midland First UMC is sending a team to reach out to our neighbors still suffering the efects of Hurricane Sandy.
